We read the operators' own listings, official state permit rules and recent traveller feedback. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours, employ no photographers and hold no bookings. The sessions sit on the Hawaii photoshoot comparison, and every number on the site carries the month it was last read.
Why this site exists
Search for a photographer in Hawaii and the results are photographer directories and concierge services, all quoting a price and none of them comparable. The listings that matter differ on things the marketing copy skips: one hands back 45 edited photos in four working days, another delivers in two weeks, a third states that the fee does not include the digital files at all.
Putting those differences next to the price, on one page, is the whole job of this site.
Where the facts come from
Session prices, lengths, ratings, review counts and inclusions are read off each operator's own listing on the date shown on the page, in US dollars. Listings checked: August 2026. Last price check: August 2026.
Permit rules are taken from the Hawaii Film Office and the DLNR Land Division, quoted with their own figures and dated. Weather and daylight figures come from long-run Honolulu averages. Traveller feedback reviewed: every verified review published on the listed sessions at the time of writing.
What we do not do
We do not take photographs, sell sessions, process payments, or handle rescheduling and refunds — the booking platform and the photographer named on your confirmation do all of that. We have never claimed to have sat for one of these sessions ourselves; where the site describes how a shoot unfolds, that description is assembled from the operators' listings and dated traveller reviews.
How the site pays for itself
Booking links on this site are affiliate links. If you book through one, the platform pays this site a commission at no extra cost to you. The commission works the same way across every session listed, so it gives us no reason to rank one photographer above another — the ordering and the verdicts come from the listings' own numbers.
